BIPRA was founded in 2001 and has 11 members. It exists to support the exchange of information and ideas and promote professionalism in the production of the official reports of legislatures.
Official reports are indispensable aids for elected members and others, as they provide clear, accurate and independent accounts of parliamentary proceedings.

We hold an annual symposium for members. The next symposium will be hosted by the Northern Ireland Assembly from 27 to 30 July 2025 in Belfast.
